Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq had a meeting with Guinea’s Minister of Security and Civil Protection Bachir Diallo and his accompanying delegation, who are currently on a visit to Egypt.
They reviewed means to foster cooperation between their respective ministries on security issues of common interest.
Tawfiq said the visit reflects historic ties between the governments and peoples of the two countries, noting that the Interior Ministry is keen to enhance communications with all African countries, including Guinea, to maintain security in the continent.
For his part, Diallo lauded good bilateral relations with Cairo, stressing that his country is keen to exchange experience with Egyptian security bodies in different relevant domains.
