According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting highlighted the joint cooperation programmes and projects between Egypt and France in the field of communications and information technology, as well as French companies’ investments in this sector, including those specialised in outsourcing. It also referenced Dr Talaat’s discussions with French government officials and companies during previous meetings aimed at boosting Egyptian-French cooperation in relevant areas, along with his meetings with several CEOs and representatives of major French technology companies and business institutions that are members of the French Emplo

During the meeting, Dr Talaat confirmed the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s commitment to creating an attractive investment environment that encourages global companies to expand their operations in Egypt. He expressed his hope for the expansion of French companies in Egypt to offer more services to their clients worldwide and to benefit from Egypt’s competitive advantages in the outsourcing industry, particularly the availability of a broad base of young, qualified professionals capable of providing digital services in multiple languages.
Dr Talaat elaborated on the efforts made to enhance the technical capabilities of young people and refine their foreign language skills. He noted that there is an expansion in the target groups of digital capacity-building programmes to include non-specialists in the technology field, such as lawyers and accountants, to enable them to develop their
career paths based on modern technologies like artificial intelligence. He expressed his hope to enhance cooperation with the French side to refine young people’s French language skills through a platform that relies on artificial intelligence technologies, thereby improving their ability to provide digital services to French-speaking markets.
