Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has discussed with French Ambassador to Egypt Marc Baréty along with his accompanying delegation ways of boosting bilateral ties.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister was keen to review Egypt’s strategy to boost health facilities and increase their efficiency.
The minister also drew attention to Egypt’s keenness to maximize the potential of the health sector.
The meeting also explored prospects of cooperation in construction of green facilities, said Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
The minister, meanwhile, pointed out to progress made so far in Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital, which will be presented as a model for the first green hospital in Egypt, added the spokesman.
The political leadership gives top priority to the population growth issue, affirmed the minister during the meeting.
The French ambassador, for his part, expressed his happiness with the existing cooperation between Egypt and France.
He also hailed Egypt’s efforts to improve the quality of healthcare services.
Egypt has become a leader in the sphere of providing healthcare services, he affirmed.
