Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty, who is currently visiting the UAE, discussed with UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan al Jaber the distinguished ties binding the two countries in light of directives issued by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed to work toward enhancing bilateral ties in the various spheres.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the various UAE projects and investments in Egypt, which cover different sectors including energy, mining, and industries related to new and renewable energy.
The two sides also tackled the distinguished cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of combating climate change and building on the achievements made in climate change in Sharm El Sheikh COP27 and Dubai COP28, especially with regard to issues pertaining to adaptation, losses and damages, and climate financing.
They also agreed on the need to continue consultation between the relevant pa
rties in Egypt and the UAE in a bid to enhance cooperation between the two countries, especially in the investment sphere.
