Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Sherif Eissa stressed on Wednesday Egypt’s keenness on boosting cooperation with all the institutions in Côte d’Ivoire.
Egypt is interested in sharing its expertise with Côte d’Ivoire in various fields, including security, health, culture, tourism, transport, energy, communication, agriculture, housing, and roads, Eissa said during a political consultation round, held in Abidjan with ambassador Soro Kapieletien, assistant secretary-general of the Ivorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting tackled the climate issues as Egypt prepares for holding the COP27 in November.
For his side, Kapieletien hailed the Egyptian expertise, and expressed his country’s interest in reinforcing cooperation with Egypt in different political, economic, and cultural fields.
