Egypt on Monday 5/9/2022 condemned a suicide bombing that targeted the Russian Embassy in Kabul, killing and injuring several people.

The attack reportedly claimed the lives of two Russian embassy staff along with four Afghan civilians.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry offered in a statement its deepest condolences to the Russian people and government.

Egypt also extended condolences to Afghan victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured, Spokesman for the ministry Ahmed Abo Zeid said.

Egypt reiterated its denunciation and rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
