Egypt has denounced the massacre carried out by the Israeli army in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip on Saturday evening, which led to numerous civilian casualties and injuries, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday.

In its statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry also denounced all massacres perpetrated by the Israeli army in the occupied Palestinian territories, including the massacre at the Tulkarem camp in the northern West Bank three nights ago.

Furthermore, the ministry condemned the massacres resulting from airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut and other areas in Lebanon.

Cairo reaffirms its full support for UN institutions working in challenging circumstances, especially the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the statement added.

It also stressed the crucial role of these institutions in supporting humanitarian efforts and restoring calm, stability, and security.
