The Egyptian national team beat South Korean counterpart 75-73 in the first match of the 2022 FIBA Under-17 Women’s Basketball World Cup, being held in Debrecen, Hungary, on July 9-17.
Having ended up in the the Group 3, which includes Canada, Spain, and South Korea, Egypt is expected to play against Spain on Sunday.
Sixteen national teams are competing in the tournament.
