Egypt, Cote D’Ivoire discuss joint cooperation

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Mostafa met Monday at the ministry Headquarters in the New Administrative Capital with Dole Gueu Albert, Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoireto Egypt and his accompanying delegation.

They discussed cooperation between the two countries in various domains and affirmed the strength of relations, pointing out to visits exchanged by the two countries’ officials.

The two sides reviewed the technological, technical and human capabilities of the ministry-affiliated companies which are the main pillar of the military industrialization in Egypt.

The minister said that the companies also contribute to national projects the state is implementing. They also discussed the possibility of opening new horizons for cooperation between the Egyptian military companies and their Ivorian counterpart.

For his part, the Ivorian diplomat hailed the level of relations and Egypt’s role in maintaining security and peace in his country and the region, said ministry
spokesman Mohamed Eid Bakr.

The diplomat appreciated minister Mostafa’s efforts to increase cooperation between the two sides in light Egypt’s keenness on supporting African countries.
