Egypt continues aid airdrops into Gaza

Egypt’s military aircraft – in cooperation with Jordan and other countries of the international coalition – continued to airdrop dozens of tons of humanitarian aid, including food and medical supplies, into the war-ravaged Gaza Strip.

This is done in an effort to alleviate the grave humanitarian suffering of Palestinians due to the ongoing Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip.

The airdrops are carried out in line with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to intensify aid and relief efforts to support residents in the Palestinian enclave.

The move comes in tandem with Egyptian and international efforts to reach a ceasefire deal in Gaza and ensure the sustainable delivery of assistance to the Israeli-besieged and war-battered enclave.
