Egypt Condemns Israeli Airstrikes on Syria, Attack on UNRWA Clinic in Gaza


Cairo: Egypt has strongly condemned Israel’s latest airstrikes on multiple sites in Syria, describing them as a violation of international law and an assault on Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Foreign Ministry issued a statement accusing Israel of exploiting Syria’s internal situation and urged international actors to curb Israel’s repeated violations. The statement also called for Israel to end its occupation of Syrian territories and to respect the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.

In addition, Egypt denounced Israel’s attack on a UNRWA clinic in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, which resulted in casualties. The ministry labeled the strike as a breach of international law and humanitarian law.

Cairo further condemned Israel’s targeting of UN agencies, humanitarian organizations, and medical facilities, stating that such actions demonstrate a disregard for international law. The ministry criticized the international comm
unity’s silence and urged global powers to take action to end Israel’s conduct.
