Egypt strongly condemned a blast which occurred on Friday 02/09/2022 outside a mosque in the city of Herat in western Afghanistan killing and injuring dozens of people.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry offered in a statement on Saturday 03/09/2022 its deepest condolences to victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

Egypt reiterated its denunciation and rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
