Egypt is concerned about the dangerous escalation in the Middle East, following the latest Israeli attack on Iran early Saturday.
Egypt condemned all measures threatening regional security and stability that simmer tension in the region.
In a statement on Saturday 26/10/2024, Egypt warned of the repercussions of the current escalation on regional and international security.
Egypt underlined its stand on the importance of swiftly ceasing fire in the Gaza Strip within the framework of a deal, including releasing hostage, which is the only way to contain this escalation.
Egypt called again for ceasing fire in Lebanon and respecting the sovereignty of the Lebanese lands.
Egypt reiterated its call on the importance of respecting the international law, the international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, on respecting state’s sovereignty and the unity of lands.
