Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty received a phone call from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation. During the conversation, the ministers focused on enhancing joint efforts in the artistic, economic, and trade sectors.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Ukrainian foreign minister also updated Abdelatty on the US-led mediation efforts concerning the ongoing Ukrainian crisis. The discussions included insights into the outcomes of the two rounds of indirect negotiations that took place in Jeddah and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In response, the Egyptian foreign minister reiterated Cairo’s support for the mediation efforts, emphasizing the importance of restoring security and stability in the region.
