Mexico City: Egypt’s ambassador to Mexico, Amr Abdel Warith, has engaged in discussions with Cristal Pelayo, the director general of the international affairs unit and parliamentary relations of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, to explore avenues for enhancing parliamentary, cultural, and economic cooperation between the two nations.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting focused on the potential for arranging mutual visits for parliamentary delegations and improving coordination between the countries’ parliamentary committees. The discussions also included the possibility of increasing business collaboration in environmental technology, tourism, and information technology sectors.
The Egyptian ambassador conveyed Egypt’s appreciation for the Mexican parliament’s dedication to strengthening bilateral relations. He expressed hope for the advancement of ambitious initiatives aimed at enhancing joint cooperation between Egypt and Mexico.
