Egypt and Japan Explore Enhanced Cooperation on Early Childhood Development


Cairo: Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi engaged in discussions with Yo Ebisawa, the newly appointed head of the Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) office in Cairo, focusing on strengthening collaboration between the ministry and JICA within the framework of the ‘Quality Improvement of Early Childhood Development (ECD-JICA Project).



According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister Morsi began the meeting by congratulating Ebisawa on his new role and wishing him success during his tenure in Egypt. She emphasized the robust partnership between her ministry and JICA, noting that all kindergartens to be established in the New Administrative Capital will adhere to the Japanese educational system.



Ebisawa expressed enthusiasm about his new position in Egypt and affirmed that JICA teams would make dedicated efforts to enhance relations with the Ministry of Social Solidarity in the upcoming phase.
