Egypt and Greece Discuss Enhancing Naval Cooperation


Alexandria: Commander of the Egyptian Navy Ashraf Atwa met with Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff Dimitrios Kataras and his accompanying delegation during an official visit to the navy command in Alexandria.



According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting was part of ongoing efforts by the Armed Forces to strengthen military cooperation with sisterly and friendly countries. The discussions focused on a range of issues of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance naval cooperation in the future.



Both parties emphasized the significance of bolstering strategic partnership relations between the Egyptian and Greek armed forces. This initiative is a part of the broader effort to support bilateral ties between the two countries across various domains.
