Egypt and Austria Discuss Strategies for Gaza Conflict Resolution


Cairo: Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, engaged in discussions with Austria’s newly-appointed Foreign Minister, Beata Mainl-Risinger, regarding Egypt’s vision for resolving the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Abdelatty detailed Egypt’s efforts to restore and solidify a ceasefire agreement in three stages and to seek sustainable solutions to the conflict amid the continuing Israeli escalation. He stressed the importance of applying pressure on the Israeli government to achieve an immediate ceasefire and ensure the prompt delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.



According to State Information Service Egypt, the conversation took place during a telephone call on Thursday. Abdelatty also articulated Egypt’s position on the developments in Syria, emphasizing the need to stop Israel’s blatant violations in Syrian territories. He reiterated Egypt’s support for Syrian institutions and the political process, advocating for the inclusion of all sectors of Syrian society.
