The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency announced that it has succeeded, from July 2014 to August 2024, in pumping about EGP 2.5 billion in financing 57,000 small and micro projects in Sinai.
The agency also said that it provided more than 100,000 diverse job opportunities for the people of Sinai and the Canal cities.
The agency’s keenness to provide all forms of financial and technical support to the small and micro-enterprise sector in Sinai and the Canal cities, to implement the directives of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Agency’s Board of Directors, to work on pushing comprehensive development rates in Sinai and the Suez Canal axis to increase employment rates and provide more new job opportunities for the people of the land of turquoise, especially young graduates and women.
The CEO of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency pointed out that within the framework of plans to push comprehensive development rates in Sinai and work with all pa
rtners from government agencies and civil society organizations, the agency’s services do not stop at financial services only, as it provides a distinguished package of technical and marketing services, training services and project establishment services.
This aims to prepare an environment for the growth of business projects in the region and encourage young people to enter the field of freelance work and embark on establishing projects of various types, in addition to enhancing their ability to develop existing projects.
