Education Minister Travels to UK to Enhance Joint Cooperation Projects in Field of Pre-University Education


London: Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif has travelled on Sunday 2/2/2025 to the British capital, London, on a visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between Egypt and the United Kingdom in the field of pre-university education and developing educational policies.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the visit is set to include a number of meetings with education officials in the United Kingdom, as well as inspectors from Ofsted, the body responsible for education quality standards. Additionally, there will be field visits to prestigious educational institutions to observe the development of testing systems and school learning, exchange experiences and insights on best practices in measuring school effectiveness, and explore the best practices for using artificial intelligence to assess student progress, as well as the latest teaching methods and inclusive education for students with special needs.

During the visit, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif will also hold a co
ordination meeting with the British Council to establish mechanisms for enhancing cooperation more effectively in the period ahead.

This visit by Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif to London follows a trip he made to the German capital, Berlin, where he held intensive meetings with several officials to strengthen ties in joint projects related to the pre-university education sector.
