Dubai Police Carnival kicks off at City Walk

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police and Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Event Security Committee, inaugurated the “Dubai Police Carnival” at City Walk.

The carnival coincides with the graduation ceremony of the Dubai Police Academy in collaboration with the Dubai Shopping Festival and will continue until 7th January.

The event was attended by Brigadier Mansoor Al Qargaoui, Director of the General Department of Administrative Affairs; Brigadier Misbah Saeed Al Ghafli, Deputy Director of the General Department for Organisation Protective Security and Emergency Affairs; Ahmad Al Jemairi, Director of Business Events at the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai; Magi Abdulbasit, Director of the Dubai Shopping Festival; and Ahmad Al Marzooqi, Senior Events Manager.

The carnival showcases future police projects and the latest advancements in safety and technology, offering a vibrant experience with participation from security teams and musical an
d military parades.

Al Mazrouei toured the carnival’s booths, highlighting Dubai Police’s journey of innovation and excellence, leading to global recognition, cutting-edge projects, advanced criminal evidence science applications, and technical tools shaping the future of law enforcement to enhance security and community happiness.

Al Mazrouei affirmed that the innovation strategy and readiness of Dubai Police are crucial enablers for the police work system, expressing pride in Dubai Police’s achievements in innovation.

Brigadier Mansoor Al Qargaoui explained that the carnival’s launch, coinciding with Dubai Police Academy’s graduation ceremony, reflects Dubai Police’s community goals and commitment to promoting happiness and security among community members.

He highlighted that the carnival features a variety of police shows, musical bands, and activities focusing on the Dubai Police’s role in enhancing community happiness and security.

The accompanying events include displays from the Dubai Police Cust
omer Happiness Centre, luxury security patrols, the music band, police dogs, bicycle and cavalry shows, and the Hemaya School students’ presentation.
