Dubai Culture showcases Dubai’s creative journey in Tashkent

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) concluded its participation in the 4th World Conference on Creative Economy, held in Tashkent under the theme “Inclusively Creative: A Shifted Reality.”

The event, organised by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation in collaboration with various international organisations, attracted over 2,000 global creatives.

Hala Badri, Director-General of Dubai Culture, participated in a panel titled “How Are Arts and Culture Reshaping Diplomacy?”. She discussed the role of arts and culture in fostering global cooperation, highlighting Dubai’s achievements, including its top global ranking in foreign direct investment in cultural and creative industries, and the upcoming World Cities Culture Summit and ICOM General Conference.

The delegation also toured Tashkent’s cultural landmarks, including Rakhimov Ceramic Studio, the Centre for Contemporary Art, the Hazrati Imam Complex, and the Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Arts.
