RAMALLAH: As the Israeli onslaught on Gaza reaches its 142nd consecutive day, dozens of Palestinian civilians, including children and women, were reported killed or injured by Israeli airstrikes or gunfire over the last few hours.

WAFA correspondents reported that several Palestinian civilians were killed as a result of renewed Israeli artillery shelling in the western areas of Khan Yunis, south of the enclave, as well as in the Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City.

In Gaza City, a Palestinian was confirmed killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential home in the Shaaf area east of the city. Simultaneously, Israeli drones fired shots on the eastern neighborhoods of the city, coinciding with artillery shelling on the area.

Explosions were also heard and reported heavily in the Zaytoun neighborhood south of Gaza City, as Israeli tanks resumed their ground offensive over the last few days in the neighborhood after several weeks of partial withdrawal from the area.

Meanwhile, in Beit L
ahia, northern Gaza, local sources confirmed the retrieval of a martyr following the Israeli shelling of a house in the town, with several individuals still missing under the rubble.

Yesterday evening, two Palestinians were killed and four others injured in an Israeli shelling of the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City.

The Ministry of Health stated yesterday that eight massacres were committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza during the previous 24 hours, resulting in 92 fatalities and 123 injuries among the Palestinian civilian population.

In a preliminary tally, at least 29,606 Palestinians have been killed and 69,737 others injured, predominantly women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7th of last year.

Amman: The health situation in the northern areas of the Gaza Strip is catastrophic in light of the continued Israeli war and siege since October 7, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated Sunday.

According to a statement, the Ministry said the health situation in the northern enclave is “extremely catastrophic and cannot be described,” adding, “The hospitals in Gaza and its north are currently without fuel, while the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City has been lacking fuel for more than ten days.”

The Ministry added that medicine refrigerators are without electricity, threatening to destroy quantities of sensitive medicines.
