Discussing ways of cooperation between Hebron institutions to improve services provided to citizens


HEBRON – Ma’an – Chairman of the Union of Plastic Industries and member of the Board of Directors of the Hebron Chamber Kamel Al-Zeer Al-Husseini and Economic Advisor and member of the Board of Directors of the Hebron Chamber Ahmed Hassouna, in the presence of Jawad Al-Tawil, member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Plastic Industries, met with Mohammad Al-Shalaldeh, Director General of the Labor Directorates of the Hebron Governorate, Azmi Dudin, Director of the North Hebron Labor Directorate, Eng. Jihan Jarar, Director of the Tarqumiya Labor Office, Alaa Darabi’, Director of the Idhna Labor Office, and Wael Namoura, Director of the South Hebron Labor Directorate, during a meeting that brought them together at the Hebron Labor Directorate.

Employment mechanisms were discussed to alleviate the burden of unemployment and reduce the severity of poverty, in completion of the terms of the agreement signed between the Minister of Labor, Dr. Enas Al-Attari, and the Federation of Plastic Industries.

Ways o
f cooperation and consolidation between the Ministry of Labor, the Union of Plastic Industries, and the Hebron Chamber were also discussed, including holding awareness workshops for workers on public and occupational safety, in addition to the rights of workers and employers and the Palestinian Labor Law.

Al-Shalaldeh expressed his pride and appreciation for the private sector, which continues to drive the economic wheel despite the difficulties facing the region, expressing his hope for increased cooperation between the private sector and the Ministry of Labor for the benefit of all.

Al-Husseini and Hassouna, in the presence of the head of the Bab al-Zawiya Traders Committee, Yousef Abu Aisha, discussed with the Director General of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee, Muhannad al-Jaabari, in his office in the Old City of Hebron, the mechanisms and methods for restoring normal life to the Old City and revitalizing economic life alongside social, cultural and tourist life there.

Al-Husseini praised the impo
rtant role played by the Hebron Reconstruction Committee in protecting the human cultural heritage and its tireless work in restoring and rehabilitating buildings and repopulating them with residents, wishing success and guidance to the committee director, Al-Jaabari, who assumed his duties at the end of last week. He expressed the readiness of the Hebron Chamber and the Union of Plastic Industries to cooperate constructively and positively with the Reconstruction Committee to achieve its desired goals.

For his part, Advisor Hassouna appreciated the work carried out by the Hebron Reconstruction Committee, stressing that the Palestinian private sector and relevant institutions must unify and combine efforts to restore normal life to the Old City.

Abu Aisha also expressed his pride in Al-Jabri and the important roles he played before assuming his duties as director of the Hebron Reconstruction Committee. He stressed that the Central Hebron Merchants and Traders Committee is ready to provide whatever is necess
ary to assist the Reconstruction Committee. He expressed his pride in the role played by Al-Husseini and Hassouna in networking and cooperation between the various institutions and sectors, and expressed his satisfaction with such constructive cooperation in the service of the citizens of Hebron, who deserve the best.

Al-Husseini and Hassouna also held a meeting with the Director General of Radio Al-Rabia, media figure Riad Khamis, and media figure Adel Aghrib, and discussed ways of joint cooperation between the private sector and local media to support the national economy.
