Director General of National Media Office visits UAE pavilion at Gulf Radio and Television Festival in Manama


MANAMA: Dr. Jamal Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Director-General of the National Media Office, visited the UAE pavilion at the 16th edition of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival in Manama, Bahrain.

In statements made on this occasion, Dr. Al Kaabi commended the Festival’s role as a prominent Gulf gathering that celebrates creative minds in the media sector. He highlighted its significance in fostering unified media trends and visions across the Arabian Gulf region. He also applauded the festival’s support for excellence in radio and television production, as well as its recognition of talented young people in this field.

Dr. Al Kaabi expressed his pride in the development and prosperity witnessed by the UAE’s media industry. He commended the Emirati media companies, institutions, and organisations participating in the festival for their distinguished media services and products. He wished them success in winning a significant number of festival awards, further solidifying the UAE’s leading position in the re
gional media landscape.

He stressed the pivotal role of the media in conveying the UAE’s message and enhancing its image internally and externally, stressing the importance of keeping pace with technological developments in this field to ensure continued leadership and excellence.
