GAZA: A deadly airstrike carried out earlier tonight by Israeli occupation forces targeted a commercial facility housing displaced persons in the Armeida area, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. The attack resulted in multiple casualties and injuries among civilians.
According to medical sources, at least six civilians were killed and dozens more were wounded as a result of the Israeli military’s bombardment of the facility that provided shelter to displaced individuals in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.
Meantime, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the Nuseirat refugee camp located in central Gaza. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 38,919 documented Palestinian fatalities, mostly women and children, in addition to 89,622 injuries. Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
