At least 16 Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women, dawn on Tuesday were killed, and dozens of others were injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes on various areas in the Gaza Strip, during which two UNRWA shelter schools were targeted.
WAFA correspondents said that as the aggression entered its 263rd day, dozens of civilians were killed and wounded in the bombing of Khan Yunis, Maghazi and Al-Shati camps, and the areas of southern Gaza.
The sources added that civilians were killed and injured in an Israeli bombing of two shelter schools belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in al-Shati Camp and Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Civil Defense said that its crews recovered five bodies of civilians, including children, while a number of other slain people and wounded were transported in civilian vehicles following the occupation bombing of Asmaa school, which houses displaced people in the said Camp, west of Gaza City, which caught fire

Civil Defense crews also recovered bodies of six civilians as a result of the Israeli targeting of Abdel Fattah Hamoud School in the Jaffa area in central Gaza City.
In addition, civil defense crews in Gaza recovered the bodies of two women and transported a number of casualties in the Israeli targeting of Al-Zamili family home in Al-Shuja’iya area, east of the city.
The occupation targeted west of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, with air strikes, artillery shelling, and tank fire.
Earlier tonight, a young man was killed and others were injured, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted Tal al-Sultan, west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year rose to 37,626 and has so far left 86,098 casualties, the majority of whom were children and women.
