Culture Minister Inas Abdel Dayem, Tourism Minister Khaled Anani Alexandria Governor Mohamed el Sherif inaugurated on Friday the Festival of the Roman Amphitheatre in Alexandria’s Kom El Dekka.

This comes after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Head of the Cairo Opera House Magdy Saber and other senior officials attended the inauguration in which singer Medhat Saleh sang a number of his famous songs.

The six-day event also includes performances by singers Mohamed Mohsen, Dina el Widedi, Tareq Arabi and Masar Egbary band.
