Cairo: Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Hanno met with Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication and head of the current session of the Arab Ministers of Culture Conference, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and ways to enhance the partnership between the two countries.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 24th session of the Conference of Ministers Responsible for Cultural Affairs in the Arab World. During the meeting, Hanno highlighted the historical and cultural ties between Egypt and Morocco, emphasizing these ties as symbols of the fraternal bonds between their peoples. He reiterated the political leadership’s commitment to supporting cultural cooperation with Morocco, aiming to protect the shared Arab identity and stressing the launch of joint cultural projects and programs that foster sustainable development and support creativity.

hasized Morocco’s dedication to supporting joint Arab action and enhancing cooperation among Arab nations. He praised the cultural relations between Egypt and Morocco and noted Egypt’s significant position in the Arab cultural scene due to its rich heritage and intellectual legacy, inspiring the region and beyond.
The ministers discussed strengthening cultural cooperation through the exchange of cultural and artistic events, supporting creators, and launching joint initiatives. These initiatives aim to foster closer relations between the two peoples. The Moroccan minister reiterated his country’s commitment to supporting shared Arab cultural issues and promoting creativity and cultural diversity in the Arab world.
Both sides agreed that their meeting was part of a broader effort to enhance Arab cultural integration and continue developing the shared cultural landscape. This collaboration reflects the Arab identity and aims to strengthen the cultural presence of Arab countries on the international stage.
