Amman: The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) hosted the third annual ceremony for the Footsteps of Al Hussein’s program, a key initiative under its leadership development track.
Held at the King Hussein Club, the “Leadership Has a Path” event showcased the program’s milestones and its transformative impact on Jordanian youth.
The ceremony gathered over 70 national leaders, partners, supporters, and mentors, celebrating the achievements of 40 young men and women from across Jordan who completed the program’s rigorous requirements over the past year. These participants, hailing from various governorates, were recognized for their dedication and growth throughout the program.
In a press release, the Foundation highlighted the program’s focus on equipping young leaders with essential knowledge, skills, and intellectual tools to succeed in public, private, and civil sectors. The initiative also facilitated training and networking opportunities with local, regional, and international partners, alongside personalized
guidance from experts across political, economic, and social fields.
A key feature of the program is the “National Challenge” track, where participants present innovative solutions to national challenges. These proposals are evaluated by a panel of judges and specialists, reinforcing the practical application of their leadership training.
Ghassan Nuqul, Chairperson of the CPF Board of Trustees, expressed pride in the program’s journey, noting that it was inspired by the vision of His Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. “We have worked within the Foundation to create an environment that fosters youth leadership, encouraging initiative and community service as the foundation for success,” Nuqul said.
He also shared success stories from previous cohorts who have implemented impactful community projects across various sectors, including education, tourism, and volunteerism.
Nuqul congratulated the participants, urging them to continue their dedication to Jordan’s future. “We know the responsibil
ities you bear are great, but we also know you can meet them and contribute to a brighter future.”
Participant Bisan Al-Kurdi reflected on the program as a journey of self-discovery and capacity building, emphasizing the importance of growth through challenges.
Fellow participant Yousef Al-Qahafi described the program as a turning point in his life, inspiring a renewed commitment to serve Jordan.
The ceremony also featured personal testimonials from participants and concluded with the presentation of certificates, honoring the young leaders for their accomplishments and their dedication to the program.
