Arab League Assistant Secretary General Ahmed Rasheed Khattabi said the Council of Arab Information Ministers will convene in Cairo on September 20-22.
In statements to MENA during his recent visit to Beirut, he said the first day will be allocated for meetings of the permanent Arab media committee, while the second day will be for meetings of the council’s executive office.
The council will convene at the ministerial level on September 22.
The meetings’ agenda addresses the role of Arab media in combating extremism and terrorism, monitoring the impact of electronic games on Arab social security and the Arab map for sustainable development.
The talks will also tackle developing Arab media platform and observatory and the completion of the electronic website of the Arab media committee.
