President of the Higher Council for the Rights of Disabilities (HCD) Prince Mired bin Raad and Chief Justice Sheikh Abdul Hafez Rabta discussed cooperation.
Prince Mired and Rabta met on Sunday to discuss the access of persons with disabilities to Sharia courts and moving persons with disabilities from residential centres to live with their families and foster families.
Prince Mired discussed the Sharia judiciary’s role in protecting and promoting the rights of persons with disabilities, praising the Chief Justice Department for supporting the Council in making Sharia courts accessible.
Rabta said the department would support the access of persons with disabilities to Sharia courts “privately and independently.”
