Cote D’Ivoire Invites Egypt to Participate in Aquaculture Fair in April


Yamoussoukro: Ambassador to Yamoussoukro Sherif Seif met Ivorian Minister of Animal and Fisheries Resources Sidi Toure to confer over expanding bilateral cooperation. The meeting focused on enhancing collaborations between the two nations in the field of fisheries, with a particular emphasis on Egypt’s participation in an upcoming aquaculture fair in Cote D’Ivoire.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister Sidi Toure expressed a desire to benefit from Egyptian expertise in fisheries. The aquaculture fair, which is set to be held in April, will serve as a platform for Egypt to showcase its advancements and share its knowledge in aquaculture practices with Cote D’Ivoire.

Earlier this month, discussions on enhancing bilateral ties were also held between Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Sherif Farouk and Ivorian Ambassador to Cairo Dole Gueu Albert. The focus of their meeting was the transfer of Egyptian experience in developing food industries, particularly in the production of edible oils. T
