Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine Kabbaj and Ambassador Moushira Khattab, President of the National Council for Human Rights, signed a cooperation protocol to promote human rights and capacity building.

The protocol aims to prepare joint research, organize and hold conferences, seminars, and workshops on basic human rights and public freedoms. The protocol also aims to study and address social phenomena that appear in the Egyptian society, such as the phenomenon of violence, murders, and hate speech.

The two parties emphasized the importance of exchanging visions on social issues affecting society and searching for the most appropriate solutions to them through spreading the culture of human rights, respect for difference, pluralism, and the principles of citizenship in accordance with the Egyptian Constitution, the National Strategy for Human Rights, and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
