Grand Mufti of Comoros Sheikh Abu Bakr b. Sumait al-Alawi praised the Cairo Document for Spreading Peace that was issued at the end of the 32nd Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
In a message sent to Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, Comoros Island Mufti commended the recommendations and outcome of the conference, considering it as a new leap on the road to tolerance and activating the right of citizenship on the strong bases of religion and values.
Meanwhile, Gomaa received a message from Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Germany Abdel Samad Al Yazidi to praise the strenuous efforts exerted by Awqaf Ministry to help Muslims in the West and provide mosques in Germany with distinguished imams who have moderate thoughts to perform rituals of prayers during the holy fasting month of Ramadan 2022.
