Cairo: Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat witnessed the launch of the InvestIT: Empowering ICT Startups in Egypt program. This initiative is presented by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), which is affiliated with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), in collaboration with Flat6Labs. Flat6Labs is a pioneer in the Middle East and North Africa, specializing in basic finance, early investments, and venture capital.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the program aims to prepare startups in the communication and information technology sector for seed funding and Pre Series A stages across various governorates. The objective is to enhance the startups’ capacity to secure financial investments, expand their operations, and contribute to the growth of the Egyptian economy.
