JORDAN: Israeli colonists Monday raided the Khirbet al-Farisiya area in the northern Jordan Valley, and threatened its residents.
According to local sources, colonists raided the Khirbet al-Farisiya area and verbally threatened citizens to demolish their structures and seize their vehicles and agricultural tractors.
In recent months, the Khirbet al-Farisiya area has been subjected to escalated attacks by colonists. The attacks, which are carried out under Israeli army protection, include attacks on residents’ homes, threats, intimidation and harassment of citizens, and the theft and destruction of their properties.
The residents of the community expressed fear that these attacks would lead to their forced displacement from their land, similar to what happened recently in many communities in the Jordan Valley, the latest being the Umm Al-Jamal community, where residents were forcibly displaced about two months ago due to colonial terrorism backed by the occupation government.
