HEBRON: Extremist colonists today uprooted and destroyed 80 olive and almond trees belonging to a local Palestinian resident in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to a local activist.
Anti-colorism activist, Asama Makhamreh told WAFA that colonists from a nearby illegal colonial outpost broke into the village of Khilet a-Dabewith with their livestock and proceeded to cut down and destroy around 80 olive and almond trees belonging to resident Suleiman Ali al-Daban.
Colonists also placed mobile homes to expand the illegal colonial outposts that were established on the lands of Umm al-Hayman in the Masafer Yatta area.
Meanwhile, other groups of colonists gathered near the northern entrance of the city of Jericho and attacked Palestinian residents’ vehicles with stones. However, no injuries or damage were reported.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.
Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
