JERICHO: This morning, Israeli colonists initiated excavation works next to the Arab al-Ka’abneh Elementary School in the Mujarjat village, located northwest of Jericho in the occupied West Bank.

Hassan Melehat, the General Supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for Bedouin Rights, reported that colonists began digging and establishing groundwork adjacent to the school, which serves Bedouin communities in the region, with the intent of constructing a new colonial building nearby.

Melehat described the operation as part of a broader, aggressive colonial campaign, supported by Israeli occupation forces, targeting Bedouin communities.

He pointed out that the aim of this campaign is to seize additional land from the local population.
