Colonial settlers attack olive harvesters south of Nablus

Colonial Israeli settlers, under army protection, attacked local Palestinian farmers today while picking olives in their own lands on the outskirts of the town Aqraba, in the occupied West Bank province of Nablus, according to local sources.

The sources reported that a group of colonial settlers, backed by the Israeli military, attacked farmers while they were harvesting olives, forcing them to abandon their lands. This incident adds to the growing list of attacks against Palestinian farmers during this year’s olive harvest season.

The olive harvest, a crucial time for Palestinian farmers, has been marred by hundreds of attacks by colonial Israeli settlers under military protection, leaving hundreds of farmers deprived of the opportunity to make a living during this season.
