RIYADH: A research study has found promising outcomes of cloud seeding in enhancing rainfall and increasing the density of cumulus clouds in Makkah and the Holy Sites, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
The study by the Regional Programme for Cloud Seeding also delved into weather elements in Taif Governorate to identify additional opportunities for weather improvement.
The research team is set to participate in the upcoming international rainmakers conference in Manchester, where they will present their findings to experts and specialists worldwide. This will provide a valuable platform to showcase the Kingdom’s advancements in weather modification efforts.
