BEIJING: China’s general public budget spending expanded 3.4 percent year-on-year to 10.8359 trillion yuan (about US$1.52 trillion) in the first five months of 2024, Xinhua news agency quoted the Ministry of Finance as saying Monday.
Data from the ministry also showed that China’s general public budget revenue decreased 2.8 percent year-on-year to 9.6912 trillion yuan in the first five months.
