SHANGHAI: The Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone released the first batch of general data lists for cross-border data scenarios and the accompanying operational guidelines on Friday.

According to China Central Television (CCTV), the first batch of lists includes 11 scenarios in three areas, namely intelligent connected vehicles, publicly offered funds, and biomedicine, to better meet the needs of various entities for cross-border data.

Cross-border data play an important role in research and development, production, customer service, and other business operations, especially for multinational companies.
