A Palestinian child was shot dead tonight by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Ummar, located to the north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources. The Ministry of Health confirmed a brief statement the death of 16-year-old Abdullah Mohammad Meqbel, who was critically wounded earlier tonight by live ammunition fired by the Israeli occupation forces in Beit Ummar. Mohammad Awad, a local activist, told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces attacked hundreds of angry Palestinian demonstrators were were protesting against the Israeli genocide campaign in the Gaza Strip. He said the Israeli occupation forces opened fire with live ammunition on the protesters, tragically resulting in the child Meqbel being struck in the chest. The child was immediately rushed to the hospital, he died of his critical wounds a few minutes later.
