Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, and Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff of Saudi Arabia, have co-chaired the closing session of the Egyptian-Saudi military committee meeting.
During the conclusion of the joint committee meeting held in Egypt, discussions revolved around military cooperation activities and fields between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Gharib Abdel Hafez, spokesperson for the Egyptian Armed Forces, said in a statement on Wednesday.
The session also focused on the exchange of scientific and training expertise in various military domains.
Khalifa and Ruwaili discussed numerous topics concerning the distinguished military cooperation relations between the armed forces of both nations across various sectors, the spokesperson added.
Khalifa expressed gratitude for Egypt’s steadfast ties with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing their shared visions on collaborative plans intended to enhance the capabilities of their armed forces

Ruwaili lauded Egypt’s significant regional role in fostering security and stability in the Middle East, expressing his hope for expanded military collaboration between the two countries.
Several commanders from the Egyptian and Saudi armed forces attended the meeting between Khalifa and Ruwaili, as well as the closing session of the joint committee meeting.
