In a significant development, Changi Airports International (CAI) and Cairo Airport Company have entered into strategic agreements. These aim to enhance Cairo International Airport’s operational capabilities and conduct a technical feasibility study for establishing a dedicated cargo and logistics area.

Changi Airports International, a global airport development and management leader, has formalized two agreements with Cairo Airport Company. This collaboration focuses on Cairo International Airport, a bustling aviation hub in Africa and Egypt’s largest airport in terms of passenger and cargo traffic.

The initial agreement is passenger-centric and geared towards introducing effective solutions to elevate the passenger experience at Cairo International Airport.

The ensuing agreement pertains to a feasibility study for creating Cairo Cargo City. This proposed new area within Cairo International Airport will become a center for cargo and logistics operations.
