A training program for African diplomats on dialogue, negotiation and mediation has concluded its activities in Cairo, the Egyptian foreign ministry said on Friday.
The five-day program was organized by Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA).
Twenty trainees from a number of African countries, including South Sudan, Nigeria, Central Africa and Cameroon, took part in the training program, the ministry said in a statement.
The training program aimed to hone the mediation skills of the diplomatic staffers in these countries through providing them with necessary knowledge to actively contribute to preventing and settling conflicts in Africa, it added.
