Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Rami Aboul Naga said Friday that the CBE seeks to enhance cooperation with various African countries in the areas of innovation, financial technology and artificial intelligence so that the continent can face the post-coronavirus global challenges.
The whole world is currently going through a delicate period that requires the use of all tools and mechanisms, including technology and digital transformation, to meet challenges and reduce difficulties in communication, mobility, employment and good use of technology, Aboul Naga told a session of the 29th Afreximbank Annual Meetings (AAM2022).
The CBE pays great attention to artificial intelligence, big data applications and modern technological mechanisms, as well as incubating youth innovations, he added.
