Casualties reported in a series of Israeli attacks across Gaza

GAZA: A number of casualties were reported last night as Israeli occupation forces bombarded inhabited homes in Gaza City and the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, according to local and medical sources.

The sources confirmed that Ahmad Ghuneim, a former Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails, along with three members of his family, including children, were among those killed in an Israeli airstrike which targeted a home in Jabalia refugee camp.

Additional casualties were reported as Israeli airstrikes hit a residential building in Gaza City, causing both fatalities and injuries.

Furthermore, there were reports of injuries resulting from Israeli shelling targeting a warehouse, shops, and agricultural land near the Al-Dawa Street junction in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Meantime, Israeli helicopters and military vehicles opened fire in the central and eastern areas of Rafah concurrently with artillery shelling.

According to preliminary data, the number of people killed since th
e onset of the Israeli aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023, has surged to 34,904. More than 78,514 people have been injured.

Thousands of victims are believed missing since the start of the aggression, under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams continue to face enormous risks and challenges reaching them.
