Casablanca – The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, under of the Al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, launched its 2024-2027 digital strategy in Casablanca on Monday, in the presence of Al-Quds start-ups and Palestinian businessmen.
The strategy, launched under the theme ‘Digital development for economic and social development in Al Quds’, crowns the process of digitizing the Agency’s administration.
It also reinforces the Agency’s efforts to update and develop its digital system to support the digital transition, which offers great opportunities for young people to acquire the skills required to launch income-generating projects.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, Director in charge of management at the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, stressed that ‘accelerated digitization and the rapid pace of technological tran
sition pose considerable challenges for start-ups seeking growth, stability and sustainability. However, they also offer immense opportunities for young people to assert themselves in a changing world.’
‘That’s why the Agency had to embark on this path, offering young people in Al-Quds the chance to strengthen their adaptability and pursue their path in the fields of innovation and creativity,’ Cherkaoui added.
For his part, Ihab Nasser-Eddine, who is leading the Palestinian business delegation, commended ‘the exceptional opportunity that the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency has offered us to take part in the launch of its digital strategy for the next three years,’ noting that this initiative is part of support for Al-Quds and the achievement of sustainable development in vital sectors.
‘I would like to emphasize that the Agency welcomes young Palestinians, pioneers of the digital economy. It will support the launch of their projects, offering them financial backing and specialized training,’ recalled Nasser-Eddin

On this occasion, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency and the Casablanca National School of Business and Management (ENCG) signed an appendix to the partnership agreement relating to the ‘BMAQ Innovation HUB’ start-up incubator. Agreements were also signed to finance a grant for young Palestinian entrepreneurs and start-ups, as part of the same program.
As part of the same event, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency recalled that it is taking part, for the second year running, in the GITEX Africa trade show, which starts on Wednesday in Marrakech, and that it intends to have a stand there to present the Palestinian companies that benefit from the start-up incubator.
